The 2024 Sofia Orange embodies purity and place — crafted from 100% Castel, a rare wild grape variety that has flourished for over a century on the sun-drenched slopes of Molovata Nouă, overlooking the Dniester River.
Born from estate-grown vines rooted in sandy loam and limestone soils, this skin-contact orange wine is produced in a limited run of 280 bottles using ancestral winemaking methods — hand-harvested, unfiltered, and fermented on the skins with native yeasts to reveal deep texture, structure, and soul.
No additions, no corrections — no sugar, no water, no sulfites. Only the true voice of the Castel grape, expressed through time, patience, and respect for nature.

We practice ancient winemaking methods, oak barrel fermentation, and no filtering. We don't add any additives, no sugar, no water, or preservatives. We are proud to grow local grape varietes such as Crească, Târasă, Zaibar, Castel & Viorica.
